At this year’s 59th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), delegates and advocates from around the world convened at the United Nations to review progress made and challenges remaining since the Beijing Platform for Action was adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women. New UN Report Highlights Progress, Challenges and Way Forward in Women’s and Children’s Health

2010 was a pivotal year for women and children around the world; that is when the Secretary-General of the United Nations launched the Global Strategy for Women and Children’s Health.
