By: Lauren Himiak, Women Deliver

Women Deliver is excited to announce the launch of the Women Deliver 2016 Conference website, www.wd2016.org, where registration for the conference is now open! The new website will house all information and details related to the conference, including how to showcase as an exhibitor, sponsorship opportunities, travel information, and how to become a media partner. WD2016.org will continue to expand over the next year with continuous updates about speakers, plenaries, exhibits, and events occurring in Copenhagen.

The Women Deliver 2016 Conference will be the largest gathering on girls’ and women’s health and rights in the last decade and one of the first major global conferences following the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference will spotlight how to implement the SDGs as they relate to girls and women, with a specific focus on health, in particular maternal, sexual, and reproductive health and rights, and the interconnections with gender equality, education, environment, and economic empowerment.

Check out the new website, and continue to check back as new informtation comes in regarding the program speakers, events, and more.

This conference will change my life and the life of girls in my country,  I’m working in girls issues, and the organisation which I work with is called the Voice of Voiceless which is working with the drop girls out of school and the street children, and with the issues of women also. I think this conference will help young girl and young woman also, special in country like south Sudan. This is very important issues that we as women we have to work on with it. May the Lord bless the women deliver. Betty Sunday
