Arts and Cinema Corner at the Women Deliver 2016 Conference

Arts & Cinema Corner

Submissions for the Arts and Cinema Corner are now closed. Those who applied will be notified in early March of whether or not their films were chosen. The Arts and Cinema Corner will transform a section of the conference into a creative and innovative space to share your work on a global platform. Building on the success of Cinema Corners that took place at previous Women Deliver conferences, the 2016 event will include three days of screenings running concurrent to the conference.

The Arts and Cinema Corner will engage artists, filmmakers, media outlets, and audiences in advocacy opportunities, relaying the message that creative expression is an important element of our approach to making a more equitable world for girls and women.

We will accept films of all genres:

  • narrative
  • documentary
  • animation
  • music video
  • student
  • PSAs
  • and others

We will be programming films in 25 minute slots so if your film runs over that length, please indicate to us the section you would like us to review for consideration.

All filmmakers who are selected for screening will have the opportunity to attend the conference at their expense and introduce their films to the Arts and Cinema Corner audience.

Women Deliver Arts and Cinema Corner 2016 proudly accepts entries via FilmFreeway.com, the world's best online submissions platform. FilmFreeway offers free HD online screeners, Vimeo and YouTube integration, and more.

In addition, this year's corner will be expanding to include live performance art specially curated by Lisa Russell, an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker. Get ready for three days of screenings, spoken word, poetry, dance, and song running concurrent to the conference.
